Founded in 2016 by Thomas Schulz, Bildersturm is a platform dedicated primarily to contemporary photobooks. It acts as a sort of press service, providing brief and concise information on new publications in the photobook market. There are also plans for a page on photobook resources and a library of photobooks.
The books and catalogues illustrated on this private website are not for sale. The images and written information are for educational purposes (ie. non-commercial and non-profit-making) only. All copyrights remain with the artists and publishers.
Submissions: We’d be happy for artists or publishers to send us a full pdf of their book + a selection of free to use press images + project infos for featuring them on this site. If possible via Dropbox or We Transfer.

PS: After an 18-month break, I have relaunched Bildersturm and now want to get going. I’m looking forward to a good collaboration with artists and publishers. 🙂
