About The Artist
Barbara Marstrand (b. 1994) is a self-taught photographer with a degree in sociology from the University of Copenhagen. She is particularly interested in exploring people, places, and objects rarely being portrayed, and which tell something unique about our culture and the present time. Still Life of Teenagers is her first book.

Disko Bay is an independent photobook publisher based in Copenhagen. They work closely together with photographers, designers and print makers to curate and craft unique books in limited print runs. Their aim is to promote Danish photography on the international scene and in the realm of photobooks. Disko Bay was founded in 2018 by Stinus Duch as the first dedicated photobook publisher in Denmark.
